Introduction:

AWS A5.8 RBCuZn-B. This braze welding rod are similar to RBCuZn-A rods but contain additions of iron and manganese which serve to increase the hardness and strength. In addition, a small amount of silicon serves to control the vaporization of the zinc, yielding the “low-fuming” property. The nickel addition assures uniform distribution of the iron in the deposit.

Application: 

Used to braze weld cast iron, copper, copper alloys, nickel, nickel alloys, steel, and stainless steel.
